Pitch Club Campus

Pitch Club has been delivering great results since 2007 to entrepreneurs and investors in the form of its pitching event nights, now a national phenomenon.  More recently, we have been delivering our pitching workshops as a prelude to the night for anyone interested in honing their skills either for an upcoming pitching opportunity.

Pitch Club Campus (PCC) has been established to deliver quality education and skills specifically for entrepreneurs and business angels.  PCC delivers its programs both to the public and corporate sectors and utilises workshops, seminars and online learning.

Pitch Club Campus Presents The Arion Program

The Arion Program is Pitch Club’s own internal education workshops where Pitch Club chooses topics and subject matter experts to deliver their knowledge to you in a workshop type environment (syndicated education). The Arion Program currently delivers:
  1. Pitching 101 – The foundation of Pitch Club and what we do as entrepreneurs.
  2. Opportunity Evaluation – How big is big, and what is it really worth.
  3. Economics & Finance for Entrepreneurs.
  4. Negotiation & Legal Documentation for Entrepreneurs (formerly execution).
  5. Marketing for Start-ups.

1. PITCHING 101:

This is a three hour workshop run nationally.

Anyone who has attended a Pitch Club event will attest to the fact that there is an art to pitching, and that some people do all the wrong things when they are in “the ring” (Pitch Clubs or life’s).  In many cases, what is in fact a great idea is delivered in such a way, that it misses the opportunity to connect with whoever is hearing it effectively.  Our workshops are facilitated, by one of our founders Peter Christo via his consulting firm Christo Partners, commercialisation advisers for new ventures.

The purpose of a pitching workshop is so that participants leave with a sound understanding and some experience in presenting commercial ideas to investors, be they corporate, government or private. The workshop is designed to incorporate both theoretical aspects and some practical.  At the end of the workshop, participants will have a clear idea of what is expected in terms of a quality business pitch, while allowing them the opportunity to bring their own.

2. OPPORTUNITY EVALUATION

This workshop assists entrepreneurs, or anyone looking at taking the leap into a new business venture, franchise or license, in evaluation its worth.  Many people start businesses with little idea of how to screen the idea in terms that make sense in relation to their own current financial situation, and risk profile.  They fail to look at the business opportunity in an objective and commercial manner before they make their own initial investment (leave their job, borrow against their assets).

The opportunity evaluation workshop is an essential first step for people taking a leap into a new venture.
